Floyd Hughes who was teaching comics at Pratt was the first person to show me Alex Nino’s drawings, and Tap-Dancing on a Tender Cerebellum was the first comic I ever read by him. It remains my favorite.

Over at Diversions of the Groovy Kind they have a ton of Alex Nino comics in full form for you to enjoy. This is recommended for you to do.

Currently over at the Japan Society theres an OUSTANDING collection of this man’s prints. If youre in New York at all now or in the months to come (ends June 13th) you gotta go see this show. Heres some images that you can see in real life there, and a few they didnt have.

A while ago Will over there at A Journey Round My Skull posted a tidal wave of Kuniyoshi images. So either check his blog or Flickr set for MORE.
